Team USA Olympic Kicks

Now that the olympics are over…(yes I know, I’m a bit late).  Let us check out the kicks that were worn by USA’s Men’s Basketball Team aka RedeemTeam.

All the players on the team were endorsing Nike shoes or an affliate of Nike, except for 1 (Dwight Howard endorses Adidas)…and isn’t it ironic in the inagural team photo, the head coach blocked out his shoes

Now on to the goodies….

The shoes worn in the team photo are the main shoes that were worn by the players…however…there are a few PlayersExclusives that were also worn.

Kobe in the picture is wearing what everyone else was wearing Nike HyperDunk, but he has his own exclusive edition made for him especailly known as the Mambas…

LeBron James wore the Zoom Soldier II’s for the entire tournament and broke out his new signature shoe (Zoom LeBron VI’s) for the upcoming NBA season during the gold medal game vs. Spain.

Dwyane Wade wore his Wade Team Signatures for the majority of the games until the gold medal game where he rocked the Wade IV’s

In my opinion, the hottest kicks are the Kobe’s Mambas, just because of the snakeskin pattern on the toebox. Everything else is kind of ….ehhh :S

Just to let everybody know, there is another special edition of the HyperDunk called “United We Rise” edition that is for sale in limited quantities around the world… they look nice as well w/ the laser pattern etched on the the sneaker, but not as nice as the Mambas.

BEBE Remakes Herve Leger’s Dress

At the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 08 Fashion show, Victoria Beckham was spotted wearing the Herve Leger bandage dress. One year later, BEBE produces a replica of the dress that’s currently available online and in-stores for $98USD. As with all remakes, they don’t look as fabulous as the real deal but they got to do what they got to do to make it available at a cheap price.

Ciara also wore the same Herve Leger dress at Victoria in her video with 50 Cent - Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone.

Blake Lively Dresses For University

The school term is just two weeks away and while we’re all going back-to-school shopping and dreading that first day of class, the Gossip Girl’s cast are playing school kids. Blake Lively aka Serena van der Woodsen is caught filming the smash hit television show at Columbia University. The vertical striped blazer is a new fall trend and can be bought at Forever 21, H&M and more. Knee-high boots can make any outfit look chic and how about cute puppies that female celebrities like Rihanna, Paris Hilton, and Taylor Momsen have been carrying around? Super cute.
