Fashion Cares - Nov 1

The only fashionable costume party for a cause - Fashion Cares will be hosting its annual event this Saturday November 1, 2008. It is an annual charity gala in support of the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT) to help raise awareness of the deadly pandemic and money for the ACT community. For the past 21 years, Fashion Cares has raised almost ten million dollars. This year, the event will be hosted by David Furnish - filmmaker and Sir Elton John’s life partner, TV personality Jeanne Beker and supermodel Yasmin Warsame. The Fashion Cares committee has put together great performers such as Dame Shirley Bassey who will be backed up by members of the National Ballet, Fritz Helder and The Phantoms, Katy Perry and Kreesha Turner.

At the LG Fashion Fusion Closing Party for Fashion Week on Saturday, LG donated $100,000 to this fantastic event.
