Matt & Nat Kali Bag at Winners
I stopped by Winners to browse through their sale selection (which was no good) and came across a Matt & Nat bag I instantly fell in love with. It was the same royal blue colour as the bag Dee and I saw a few weeks ago with a price tag of $99.99. And while I currently don’t have the money for it, I was seriously considering swiping my cc (something I’m trying very hard not to do these days) and take this precious bag home.
After carrying it around the store for half an hour and thinking of reasons not to get it, I decided to put it on hold. Now, I’m trying to get items that are universal with the rest of my closet – no more purchases for the “item” itself, but as a whole. It all sounds very lame but my new goal is to stop blowing money on things I won’t be wearing after a few months. And this bag was just that so after some serious consideration… I will not be going back for the Matt & Nat Kali bag tomorrow. Plus, the more I look at it, the more it looks like a sports bag.
Lesson of the day: Don’t buy something unless you really love it. Even after 24 hours.

I agree! I always tell my customers (unlike my other co-workers) they should only purchase something if they love it! If they “have a second thought” put it to the side. If it is still there the next time they come for it, it was meant to be. I think it is also because of the ‘no return policy.”
It’s a cute bag. I never thought of it as a sports bag until you had mentioned it! You will find a bag soon enough that will be ‘love at first sight’
