Fab Friday: Versace Paneled Optical Shirt/Bironi Silk Tie

It’s that time again, and it is getting increasingly difficult to find stuff I like.  There aren’t as many options for men compared to women and plus I’m pretty picky and particular about what I do wear.

fab4 Fab Friday: Versace Paneled Optical Shirt/Bironi Silk Tie

Anyway, here it is: Versace Paneled Optical Shirt and Bironi Silk Tie.  I personally think these two items go together like peanut butter and jelly, which could be worn underneath a jacket as well.

I love the tie colour; it’s not black (too dark), not silver (too light) but charcoal, which is a perfect median &amp. Stripes is a classic design that won’t ever fade.  The shirt has a ‘different’ design to say the least and that is why I like it. It kind of hypnotizes whoever is staring at it.  Also, the all white collar gives it more of a dressier feel.  The combined total for these two items are $450.15 + $250.80 = $700.95CDN. It’s just slightly out of my price range, I might as well buy 2 striped shirts of the same colour and make my own optical shirt.

I had fun today BUT it was awkward. Anyways, I agree with you on the your tie choice. I love the colour charcoal and that tie is nice and simple that can be worn with just about anything!

I will say this, I am not a fan of that shirt. It is way too busy. I was looking at it and it was hurting my eyes. Sorry to break it to you but if I saw an asian male wearing that shirt I would categorize him as a ‘typical vietnamese singer’. LOL

Love the tie, hate the shirt. Sorry, SS. I’ve been loving your picks for the past two weeks but this shirt is just horrible. BUT HEY, if you HAD the money, right? Haha. As a friend, I’m glad you don’t! -=)

once again i disagree! lol i don’t think you ladies consider the fact that menswear is EXTREMELY boring and very technical lol (I’m assuming you’re all ladies, sorry if you’re not!)

if women are allowed to have fancy cool prints, why can’t men as well? i think men need to release their inner peacocks sometimes, even if it means dizzying their viewers with this particular print. it’s showing some creativity. I would embrace it and look like a vietnamese singer :-P

and secondly, what’s wrong with the contrast collar? lol XOXO
