This Sass and Bide “close to home” babydoll dress adorable. This dress is a lot shorter than what I would normally wear but I like the plaid print (if only I had nice long, thin legs). This is a nice and simple dress. I do wish they had this dress in another colour other than the blush red. The red gives off the ‘lumber jack’ feeling to it. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying it does not work well. I suppose I prefer it if it were a jade green, navy blue or a nice violet purple.

This dress is 70% silk and 30% cotton. I notice I have been looking at a lot of silk and linen products but perhaps that is the reason why I am broke.  I love dresses with pockets. A lot of the dresses that I see when I go shopping have pockets and that is a plus! It is very useful. I can leave my chapstick, cell phone or some cash if I am lazy to carry a bag.  I don’t know if this dress is worth $484.00 (USD). I think I would be able to hunt for a similar dress at Winners (perhaps one that is approximately 1 inch longer.)
