If you asked me what I had thought about strappy/gladiator shoes a year ago, I would have told you they weren’t my cup of tea. But will you look at that, I absolutely love them now. I find them to be easy to match with outfits. Strappy heels can go with absolutely everything. I did not think it would look appropriate wearing to a formal event but with the right dress and accessories I don’t see why it wouldn’t work.

I chose this pair of Pattengale Sandals from Aldo because it is something I would love to wear with my denim or a cute skirt on a night out. I think they would be a good pair of sandals to add to my collection for the summer. In the description on the Aldo site, it had mentioned they would be a perfect pair for a cocktail party and I agree! It gave me this urge to find a cocktail party and dress to purchase those shoes and show them off. I personally would like to purchase the black multi pair in this particular style but unfortunately the back of the shoe, the snake skin, is white instead of black.

I decided to try them on to and I found them to be comfortable. I would like to believe I would be capable of surviving in those heels for at least 5 hours. I do love heels but I tend to feel uncomfortable after 2-3 hours (depending on the shoe, of course). I do love them but for $125.00, I decided to wait it out until I really need them. (or wait for them to go on sale, hehe).
