Dufferin Mall recently underwent a $11 million Cinderella renovation and transformed its rags to riches.

Before Thursday, I had n ever been to Dufferin Mall so I asked my friends and none of them had anything positive to say. SquareOne (Mississauga) and Bramalea City Center (Brampton) completed their renovations not too long ago and Dufferin Mall is keeping up with its competition. Customers now have access to new multiple mall entrances, larger washrooms and welcomed H&M, Le Chateau, Aldo and La Senza to its location.

Media attendees were invited to see top holiday trends pulled by fashion stylist, Afiyah Francisco. Each person had their own driver and was chauffeured to Dufferin Mall. As we pulled up to the mall’s main entrance, I was welcomed by a guide man and an umbrella (it was raining). As I walked down the mini red carpet through the new sliding doors, a photographer and videographer was ready to catch my strut -talk about a royal treatment!

I sat with Elli Stuhler of Shedoesthecity.com and enjoyed the delicious fruit and pastries while Afiyah talked about her holiday outfits:

After breakfast Mary Alkerton, the General Manager of Dufferin Mall, gave us a tour around the mall. The renovation was made to meet the needs of the new emerging customers - fashionistas who want the latest trends for less. Mary also revealed that Aldo was initially hesitate about opening a location but was proved wrong and even opened an Aldo Accessories store. The mall’s new slogan “really” hopes to change pessimistic opinions (like my friends) who doubt the new fashionable mall.

… Because you know I’m sold on Winners. + H&M.
